One day one of my personal dreams came true. I have always wanted to combine my work as an illustrator and photographer with music, preferably with the music I love, of course.

At that time my favorite musician was Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree. I had the chance to get in contact with him and fortunately he really liked my stuff from beginning on. It resulted in that I had the pleasure to develop a 48 pages book with illustrations for the deluxe editon of Porcupine Tree’s "The Incident".

This was the beginning of an exciting journey – and I‘m happy to say that it is still lasting. The most known (art)work I`ve done so far is surely the collaboration with Steven Wilson for his solo album "The Raven that Refused to Sing" for which I designed and illustrated a 128 pages book including cover (Deluxe Edition) and further contributed the ideas to the stories of the title track (story finally written together with SW) and to the story that became the song "Drive Home" later.

I‘m still grateful that Steven gave me the chance to work with him on such a wonderful, very successful project!

Of course that opened doors and I‘m happy to say that I am still continuously working together with those fabulous artists like Mariusz Duda, Markus Reuter, Adam Holzman, Nick Beggs, Marco Minnemann, Anneke van Giersbergen or Blackfield just to name a few.

The artworks you can see here are completely done by myself (pictures and design) except: Anneke van Giersbergen / Symphonized-photos by Dani Silvia and Marcel Helder, Steven Wilson/ Home Invasion Cover-Design and SW portrait treatment by Aleph Studio / Carl Glover.
